Welcome, Readers!

Welcome to The Write Review- a blog dedicated to reviewing works of literature and other forms of art. I plan on primarily reviewing works of fiction, but am also willing to review other genres as well. So, authors, feel free to submit your work! I will probably review the occasional live performance, but will mostly concentrate on literature.

Great literature can inspire the mind and fulfill the soul. It helps imaginations to grow and develop. It provides an escape from the everyday woes of life, transporting the reader to places as far off as distant galaxies or as intimate as the human mind. Research has proven that reading improves vocabulary, especially when the habit is started at a young age.

I realize that mine is but one of an infinite array of opinions in the world. I do not expect everyone to agree with my views, but I do ask that they be respected. If you are so inclined as to comment on a posting, feel free to disagree with me! I love a good counter review. But, please, keep your language respectful. All comments containing profanity, vulgarity and other material deemed disrespectful will be promptly deleted.

I will rate the works I review with the "four star system" which is commonly used to rate movies and other forms of media. Each work can receive a rating of anywhere between zero and four stars.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I hope that you might find a good recommendation here. If you have a book that you think I should review, please contact me.

Enjoy your reading!
